Honey Mustard Dressing is tangy, slightly tart, and sweet at the same time. This dressing is perfect on a crispy chicken sandwich, tossed in a slaw, or with pretty much any salad.
While I love this dressing with poppy seeds, they’re an optional ingredient if poppy seeds aren’t your thing.
Do you make your own salad dressings? It takes just minutes to whisk a homemade dressing together and I promise you it will taste at least ten times better than store-bought.
Almost 17 years ago, I made my first salad dressing from scratch and I could hardly believe how simple it was!
Wondering how I remember the year? Our oldest son had just been born and he cried and fussed his way through the entire meal. It’s hard to believe that he’s turning 17 next month!
Homemade salad dressings are an easy way to elevate a salad for any meal. For more great dressing recipes to try, check out some popular favorites.

This tangy Pepperoncini Lime Vinaigrette dressing is perfect for a light summer salad. The finely diced pepperoncini give a slight bite and the dill compliments them nicely. I served this dressing over a simple tossed garden salad.
The first time I made this Honey Mustard Dressing, I served it with a simple salad of mixed greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes. And I’ve swapped out the vinaigrette and served this dressing on my beloved Orange Parsley Salad as well.
The dressing is delicious however you choose to serve it. Like most homemade dressings, it will keep well in the refrigerator for at least a couple of weeks.

I'm thinking that would taste great on grilled chicken used as a "white bbq sauce" like Alabama's Big Bob Gibson's BBQ.

I’ve made this using half Greek yogurt and half mayo (when I ran out of mayo) and it was delicious. And that’s the way I’ve made it since.
Haven’t tried it with 100% Greek yogurt.
