Guide for Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled (2024)

Overview

"CTR Challenges" are specific challenges that task you with collecting three golden letters during the race (C, T, and R) and then go on to win the race!

If you win the race without all three letters, the challenge fails. If you get the letters but lose the race, you fail.

For the most part, finding and getting the letters is actually the hard part. Due to the rubber-banding, if we get all the letters on lap 1, we have more than enough time to catch up and win. The letters don’t move and will always be in the same three places, making it easy to restart a race and grab the letter if you miss it the first time around. I will leave a video link to each track as well as tell you where each letter specifically is located, I'll also list the letters in the order that they are found while going around the track. I will add more details, as necessary.

The reward for completing these challenges will be a "CTR Token". These tokens are used to unlock Cup Races. It takes four tokens of the same color to unlock a cup race and there are 5 different colours; red, blue, green, yellow and purple. The purple tokens are unlocked by completing Crystal Challenges and will be covered later.

To start a CTR challenge just drive over the race portal and select "CTR Challenge". To keep everything simple, make your way to Crash Cove and we will get started!
